Marge Lee Outstanding "C" Award
Marge Lee was hired in September 1964 as a part time employee. After the passing of her husband in 1979, Delta Chi was her life. She attended every Convention since then and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the undergraduates and alumni she spoke to on the phone so ofter. In her 44 years with Delta Chi, Marge Lee enrolled over 50,000 members, approximately half of our current total membership. Marge left our world physically in 2008, but will be remembered through both her charm and dedication to the Fraternity.
This award was renamed the Marge Lee Outstanding "C" Award in 2004 to honor her service to the Fraternity and close relations with our chapter/colony "C"s.
The Marge Lee Outstanding "C" Award recognizes chapter/colony "C"s who exhibit exceptional performance in all their required and recommended duties. Chapter/colonies nominate candidate(s) by a vote during a business meeting, which will be verified through the CMR (Chapter Meeting Report). A nominee must have held office for at least one full semester/quarter (by the close of this school year) and be in good standing with the Chapter/Colony.
Nominees will be evaluated based on the promptness and quality of their CMR and Form submissions.
